A vision of NNWT

Background

Pakistan is a wonderful country. It is indeed a land of promise and hope.
Unfortunately a depressingly large segment of the population stands excluded
from the mainstream of national progress and prosperity. These very people are
the ones who need the help because in their dire situation, every small relief
can make a big difference in alleviating their plight, even if not eliminating
their sorrows altogether.

Naim-un-Naseer Welfare Trust is a Lahore based non profit platform. It was founded by Mr. Abrar Ahmed Khan & Mr. Chauhdry Muhammmad Afzal (Late) under the advice of Mr. Asif Mahmood, on May 13, 2003.

A network of highly motivated close friends volunteering to contribute their money, time, know-how and skills etc. was established initially.

Following projects were initiated and successfully sustained by this group of friends for about 7 years without any external support.
  1. Vocational Training School for girls
  2. Free Clinic and Dispensary
  3. Help a Student Project
  4. Help in girl’s Wedding
  5. General Help for Economic Rehabilitation
In addition to above projects, Naim-un-Naseer Welfare Trust participated actively for the Disaster Relief activities during the earthquake of 2003 in Jaglot (Near Gilgit) and the earthquake of 2005 in Norther Areas of Pakistan.
